As long time advocates for ending homelessness, a cause near and dear to their hearts, Connie and Jeff Sawdey are excited for the official launch of the Michael Sawdey Samaritan Clinic for Women and Children. The clinic, which plans to provide housing and easy access to essential care, is located inside the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Dayton, Ohio shelter, operated by Five Rivers Health Centers, and staffed by the Good Samaritan Foundation-Dayton.
The collaborative efforts from local nonprofits and community healthcare providers has made this possible and we are honored to witness its critical impact.
Named after Jeff Sawdey’s late brother who experienced homelessness and suffered with a deteriorating mental health disorder, this new free clinic honors his memory and serves as a central Dayton, Ohio community resource outfit to care for over 1200 women and children in need annually.
While times are still very hard for so many, the Good Samaritan Foundation is continually looking for donors to make a difference in the lives of those most in need. If you are willing and able, please consider being the catalyst for that change. Donations are accepted here: https://gsfoundationdayton.org/how-to-help/give-now/
